Jennie Kim, often referred to simply as Jennie, is a prominent South Korean singer, rapper, and actress. She spent her early years in South Korea before moving to New Zealand for five years, returning in 2010. In August 2016, she made her debut as part of the internationally acclaimed girl group Blackpink, alongside Lalisa Manoban, Roseanne Park, and Kim Ji-soo, all under YG Entertainment. In 2023, Jennie stepped into acting with her role in the HBO series The Idol, using the name Jennie Ruby Jane.
