Jennifer Anne Garner, born on April 17, 1972, is a well-known American actress and producer. She hails from Houston, Texas, but was raised in Charleston, West Virginia. Garner pursued her passion for acting by studying theater at Denison University, eventually taking the stage as an understudy for the Roundabout Theatre Company in New York City.
