Jenny Slate — Biography
Born on March 25, 1982, Jenny Sarah Slate is a multifaceted American talent known for her work as an actress, stand-up comedian, and writer. After establishing herself with early television appearances and comedic performances, Slate garnered attention for her innovative live shows in New York City. Her creative partnership extended to co-creating, writing, and producing the beloved children's project, Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, which began in 2010 and continues to this day. Her comedic prowess gained broader recognition during her tenure on the 35th season of the iconic NBC sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live, from 2009 to 2010.
