On April 30, 2010, it was announced by Sweetin's representative that she and her boyfriend, Morty Coyle, were looking forward to the arrival of their child. Their daughter, Beatrix, was born later that year. Sweetin and Coyle became engaged in January 2011 and tied the knot on March 15, 2012, in Beverly Hills.
