Joyce Hyser — Biography

Joyce Hyser, born in New York City on December 20, 1957, carved out a niche for herself in American cinema. Her career saw a flurry of film appearances throughout the early 1980s. Notably, her role in the 1985 film Just One of the Guys became a cult favorite, largely owing to a memorable scene at the prom. In this pivotal moment, Hyser’s character, who had been masquerading as a male student at her high school, dramatically revealed her chest to assert her female identity.
