Kaho Shibuya — Biography

Kaho Shibuya is a Japanese entertainer who has built a diverse career as a cosplayer, streamer, writer, actress, radio host, and singer. She previously worked as an adult film performer and model. Born in Tokyo in 1991 to a physician father, Shibuya developed a passion for anime and manga during her childhood. In her early professional years, she worked as a baseball correspondent for the newspaper Tokyo Sports between 2013 and 2014, covering games in the Pacific League of Nippon Professional Baseball. By fall 2014, she had obtained credentials in English instruction and childcare, achieving a perfect score on the TOEIC examination. That November, she entered the adult entertainment industry under an exclusive contract with the video production company Alice Japan.

Following her transition away from adult films, Shibuya has pursued various entertainment ventures. She has leveraged her longtime enthusiasm for anime and manga by working as a cosplay personality at anime festivals around the world and releasing two collections of photographs featuring herself in character costumes. Her transition to mainstream cinema occurred in September 2019 with the film Little Nights, Little Love, and she has subsequently been contracted to provide voice acting for an upcoming anime project that experienced delays due to the pandemic.

Shibuya's broadcast work includes hosting Kaho Shibuya's Tawawa Challenge on Skyperfect TV from April 2017 through November 2019 and the radio program Kaho Shibuya's TOKUMORI since August 2019. She launched her YouTube channel Omochan in November 2018. In July 2019, she published a memoir detailing her experiences in Japanese adult cinema, which she intends to make available in English. She was previously part of the musical group SEXY-J and maintains an independent music career with multiple recordings.

As of November 2025, Shibuya has amassed 1.2 million Instagram followers, 101,400 on TikTok, and 344,000 on Twitch. Her modeling portfolio includes 20 magazine covers, 11 photo shoots, and 9 video appearances.
