Karen Jensen — Biography
Born in San Francisco on August 18, 1944, Karen Jensen began her career on the runway and in front of the camera before transitioning to acting. She gained recognition for her roles in television series like Emergency! (1972) and Mannix (1967), as well as the film The Salzburg Connection (1972). Jensen's professional journey saw her achieve success as a model in the mid-1960s, working with major studios like Warner Brothers and Universal, prior to her acting endeavors. Her early achievements included a win as "Fiesta Dream Girl" and "Motion Picture Sweater Girl of 1967," among other pageant and advertising accolades, such as "Miss Greater Los Angeles Press Club" and "Azalea Queen." She was also a runner-up for the Miss California title in 1962. Jensen's personal life includes two previous marriages to John Nealson and Michael Stroka, and she has been married to Brendon Boone since January 30, 1999. She once auditioned for the role of Jennifer in Valley of the Dolls in late 1967, though the part ultimately went to Sharon Tate.
