Kata Karkkainen — Biography

Kata Kärkkäinen is a Finnish model known for her work in nude modeling and was recognized as Playboy Playmate of the Month in December 1988. She achieved a notable accomplishment in Finland by winning the Girls Under-18 Bowling National Championship. As a foreign exchange student, she attended Stevens High School in Rapid City, South Dakota, where she was a member of the school's unsanctioned bowling team. Kata is also a member of Mensa. From 1991 to 1996, she was married to Johnny Lee Michaels, with whom she had one child. In 2004, she welcomed a daughter, Kiana Elina Aurora, whose father is Marcello Gentile. On March 30, 2005, she married her current spouse, Janne Janhonen. Throughout her modeling career, Kata has been featured as Playboy Playmate of the Month in various international editions, including Hong Kong, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, and Germany, across different months in late 1988 and early 1989.
