Kristen Bell is an accomplished American actress who launched her professional career through stage performances while pursuing studies at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. She made her Broadway debut playing Becky Thatcher in the comedic musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, followed by an appearance in a Broadway staging of The Crucible. Her film work includes roles in the action thriller Spartan from 2004 and the television drama Gracie's Choice, which earned her significant critical recognition. Bell gained major acclaim for her work portraying the lead character in the television series Veronica Mars between 2004 and 2007, a performance that won her a Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television. She returned to this iconic role for both a 2014 film adaptation and a 2019 television revival. Concurrently with her television work, Bell took on the role of Mary Lane in the musical film Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical in 2005, later reprising this part on stage in New York.
