Kristin Bauer — Biography

Kristin Bauer van Straten, born Neubauer, is an American performer recognized for her work in movies and on television. She is particularly remembered for her portrayal of the vampire Pamela Swynford De Beaufort in the HBO series True Blood. Audiences also recall her as Gillian, the girlfriend of Jerry with the distinctive "man hands," in the popular show Seinfeld. Additionally, she brought the character of Maleficent to life in the ABC series Once Upon a Time. In film, a significant role for Bauer van Straten was in the 2000 movie Dancing at the Blue Iguana. In this film, she embodied a pornographic actress who was the main attraction at a Los Angeles strip club, and her performance included an extended nude dance sequence.
