Kristine Winder — Biography

Kristine Winder was the stage name of a Canadian nude model who gained recognition as Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month in the October 1977 edition. She chose to use a pseudonym to shield her father from discovering her modeling work, but this decision proved ineffective. Numerous families in Vancouver sharing the Winder surname received inappropriate phone calls from individuals throughout North America searching for "Kristine Winder." In addition to her success with Playboy in North America, she was also featured as Playmate of the Month in October 1977 for Playboy France and in November 1977 for both Playboy Italy and Playboy Japan.
