Vanessa Sabrina Gnaegi, known professionally as Ladyva, emerged onto the music scene on December 8, 1988. This Swiss artist commands attention as a musician, a singer, a composer, and a formidable talent on the piano, specializing in the vibrant genres of boogie woogie, blues, and jazz. By May 2026, Ladyva had cultivated a significant online presence, boasting 362,000 followers on Instagram, 115,800 on TikTok, and a dedicated subscriber base of 332,000 on YouTube.

Her musical journey began at the age of 14, when she first sat down at the piano, drawing inspiration from the legendary figures of boogie woogie. Just two years later, she embarked on her performing career, sharing the stage with her brother, Pascal Silva. In 2014, Ladyva showcased her skills at various boogie woogie festivals across Germany. A significant milestone arrived in September 2015 when she was invited to perform at the renowned Jerry Lee Lewis' 80th Birthday/Farewell U.K. Tour, gracing the stages of London's Palladium and Glasgow's Clyde Auditorium.

Her captivating performances continued to gain traction. On October 16, 2015, she delivered a live rendition on The Late Late Show, broadcast on RTÉ One in Ireland. The following month, November 2015, saw her touring Europe, making television appearances in Bulgaria, including on Slavi's Show and at the Miss Bulgaria pageant. London also welcomed her talent for the 'Cigar Awards' at Boisdale, Canary Wharf, an event attended by notable figures such as Burt Reynolds and Jonathan Ross.

May 2016 marked another honor as she was invited to participate in the Boogie Woogie & Blues Spectacular, hosted by Jools Holland, performing alongside esteemed boogie woogie pianists like Axel Zwingenberger and Ben Waters, as well as stride pianist Neville Dickie. On December 12, 2016, Ladyva returned to the 'Cigar Awards,' sharing the stage with guests including Charlie Sheen and Kelsey Grammer. The year 2016 also saw her performing at festivals in Switzerland and internationally, in France, Spain, and Germany, often collaborating with Silvan Zingg.

Their creative partnership culminated in the release of their first joint four-handed CD, "Beloved Boogie Woogie," presented at the International Boogie Woogie Festival in Lugano on April 22, 2017. Ladyva's international acclaim was further cemented by invitations to perform at the world's largest Boogie Woogie Festival in Laroquebrou, France, in August 2017 and again in 2022. She has also graced numerous Jazz & Boogie-Fest
