Lalisa Manobal, born Pranpriya Manobal, is widely recognized as Lisa. A multifaceted talent from Thailand, she is a rapper, singer, dancer, and actress. Lisa gained fame as a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink, which also includes Jennie Kim, Roseanne Park, and Kim Ji-soo. The group made its debut under YG Entertainment in August 2016.

In September 2021, Lisa launched her first solo single album, titled "Lalisa," becoming the first female artist in South Korea to sell 736,000 copies in the debut week. The music video for the lead track set a record as the most-viewed video within 24 hours on YouTube for a solo artist. Both "Lalisa" and the infectious second single "Money" landed in the top ten of the Billboard Global 200. At that time, "Money" broke the record for the longest-charting track by a female K-pop soloist on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart. Furthermore, "Lalisa" and "Money" achieved billion-stream milestones on Spotify, marking them as the first album and track by a K-pop solo artist to do so, respectively.

In 2024, Lisa took a significant step by founding her own management firm, Lloud, and signed with RCA Records. She celebrated her first number-one single on the Billboard Global Excl. US with "Rockstar," the lead song from her inaugural studio album, "Alter Ego," set for release in 2025. Throughout her career, she has accumulated numerous accolades, including nine Guinness World Records, a Gaon Chart Music Award, a Mnet Asian Music Award, three MTV Europe Music Awards, and two MTV Video Music Awards. Notably, she was the first K-pop solo artist to win at the latter two award ceremonies.

Lisa is the most-followed K-pop artist on Instagram and the leading female K-pop soloist on Spotify. The Thailand Ministry of Culture recognized her as a cultural ambassador leader, while the then-Prime Minister of Thailand, Prayut Chan-o-cha, acknowledged her efforts in promoting Thai culture on an international platform. Lisa will make her acting debut in 2025 with a role in the HBO series "The White Lotus." As of February 2026, she boasts 106.0 million followers on Instagram and 11.6 million subscribers on her YouTube channel.
