Lee Aaron — Biography

Karen Lynn Greening, known professionally as Lee Aaron, emerged from Belleville, Ontario, as a distinctive Canadian voice in rock music. Her vocal talents first found expression in school productions from the young age of five. Later, her secondary education took place in Brampton, Ontario. The music landscape of the late 1980s and early 1990s saw several of her tracks achieve chart success, including anthems like "Metal Queen," "Whatcha Do to My Body," and "Sex with Love." Aaron's initial foray into recorded music was the 1982 release, The Lee Aaron Project, on Freedom Records. This was followed by the recording of the highly regarded album Metal Queen in 1983, which subsequently saw its release in 1984. In a notable moment of her public image, she appeared nude in the March 1983 issue of Oui magazine.
