Leeann Velez Tweeden, born on June 13, 1973, is a renowned American model. Hailing from Manassas, Virginia, she completed her education at Osbourn Park High School in 1991. Opting to forgo college, she swiftly embarked on a modeling career. Just two years post-high school, while working as a hostess at a Hooters in Colorado Springs, Colorado—where she also appeared in their 1994 calendar—she achieved a significant milestone by winning first place in the 1992 Venus International Model Search. This victory propelled her into the spotlight, leading to national recognition. Tweeden has since undertaken modeling assignments for various companies such as Hooters, Venus International, Frederick's of Hollywood, and Playboy. Notably, she graced the cover of the March 2007 issue of FHM, the magazine's final printed edition in the US, and has appeared in several Playboy Special Editions. Additionally, she co-hosts the Covino and Rich show on Sirius Radio 108 (Maxim Radio) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. From 2000 to 2007, she contributed as a correspondent for FOX Sports Net's Best Damn Sports Show Period. In 2008, she transitioned to become the third hostess for NBC’s late-night series Poker After Dark. During Hooters’ 25th anniversary in the same year, she was celebrated as one of "The Top Hooters Girls of all time." Furthermore, in 2009, she represented the website Rethinking Autism, which aims to educate the public about autism through a series of informational videos. In her personal life, she has been romantically associated with several notable figures, including road racer Ben Bostrom, surfer Shane Dorian, soccer player Benjamin Ortega, and MLB pitcher Josh Beckett.
