Veronica Sandoval Morales, professionally known as Lela Star, launched her adult entertainment career with the Miami-based production company BangBros before relocating to Los Angeles in 2006. Agent Jim South discovered her, leading to her debut in the Hustler-distributed film Barely Legal 18th Birthday. Within her first year in the industry, she appeared in over 40 productions before signing a contract with ClubJenna in June 2007. Her initial ClubJenna release, Lela Undone, featured her in three scenes, while her second contract film, Pinup Perversions, marked her first anal scene. She gained additional exposure through a cameo in rapper Kardinal Offishall's music video "Set It Off."

Star underwent breast augmentation surgery in August 2007, increasing her cup size from a natural 34C to 36C, followed by implant removal in 2011. She was named Penthouse Pet in July 2010 and later appeared in content on OnlyFans featuring collaboration with performer Chanel Santini.

As of December 2025, Star maintains 1.8 million Instagram followers and 139,000 YouTube subscribers. Her career trajectory included establishing a distinctive public persona that drew comparisons to reality television personalities, ultimately making her one of the industry's most recognizable performers.
