Born Lisa Gaye Griffin on March 6, 1935, in Denver, Colorado, this performer carved a niche for herself in the entertainment industry. Her acting career saw her appear in productions like Ten Thousand Bedrooms (1957) and the television series Hawaiian Eye (1959) and How to Marry a Millionaire (1957). The Griffin family relocated to Los Angeles when Lisa's sister, Teala Loring, secured a film contract with Paramount. Lisa herself underwent a screen test at Universal International and subsequently signed with the studio in 1953, the same year she completed her studies at Hollywood Professional School in June. Her parents were Frank Henry Griffin, a painter, and Margaret Griffin, who was an actress.
