Michelle Pfeiffer — Biography
Michelle Pfeiffer was born in Santa Ana, California, to parents Dick and Donna Pfeiffer. She has an older brother and two younger sisters, Dedee and Lori Pfeiffer, both of whom explored careers in acting and modeling but chose not to pursue them full-time. After graduating from Fountain Valley High School in 1976, she spent a year at Golden West College, aiming to become a court reporter. However, while working as a cashier at Vons, a major grocery chain in Southern California, she discovered her passion for acting. In 1981, she married actor and director Peter Horton, known for his role as Gary in the series Thirtysomething. Following their divorce, she entered into a three-year relationship with actor Fisher Stevens. When that relationship ended, Pfeiffer resolved to start her own family and adopted a daughter, Claudia Rose, in March 1993. Later that same year, on November 13, she wed David E. Kelley, a lawyer-turned-writer and producer famous for creating such shows as Picket Fences, Chicago Hope, The Practice, and Boston Public. Their son, John Henry, was born on August 5, 1994. As of May 2025, Michelle has gained a following of 3.5 million on Instagram.
