Miki Garcia grew up in a military family, with her father serving in the United States Air Force. This lifestyle allowed her to experience life in various locations around the globe, including Germany, Japan, and Panama, as well as states like Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, and Montana. After completing his service, her father transitioned into the insurance field.
In her leisure time, Miki participated in the Miss California Bikini Pageant at the California State Fair. She earned the title of Miss Sacramento and later became known as "Miss Wrestling" on Big Time Wrestling, a local television program broadcast on Sacramento's KTXL-TV 40, where she held roles as a commentator and ring girl. Miki's career eventually led her to Playboy, where she served as a vice president for a decade. During her time there, she garnered notable honors as Playboy's Playmate of the Month, with distinctions in Playboy USA for January 1973, Playboy Germany for June 1973, and Playboy Italy for July 1973.
