Moon Bloodgood — Biography

Moon Bloodgood is an accomplished actress and former model hailing from the United States. Her notable role as Lt. Blair Williams in Warner Bros.' Terminator Salvation brought her to prominence, sharing the screen with Christian Bale and Sam Worthington under the direction of McG. Prior to this, she appeared in Disney's Eight Below and 20th Century Fox's Pathfinder. Born Korinna Moon Bloodgood in Anaheim, California, her heritage is a blend of her American father, of Dutch and Irish ancestry, and her South Korean mother, whom her father met while stationed in Korea. Before her acting career took off, Bloodgood was a member of the Laker Girls. She has been recognized for her appearance on Maxim's Hot 100 list multiple times, reaching her highest position at number 20 in 2009. She previously ranked 99 in 2005, 53 in 2006, and 40 in 2007.

On the television front, Bloodgood portrayed Rita Shelton, the girlfriend of a detective trapped in a time loop, in the 2006-2007 series Day Break. In 2007, she took on the role of Livia Beale in NBC's American science-fiction drama, Journeyman. Her filmography also includes a part in Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, released in February 2009. She reprised her role as Blair Williams in the Terminator universe, not only in the film Terminator Salvation but also in the accompanying video game and the short film prequel series, Terminator Salvation: The Machinima Series. Bloodgood graced the cover of Maxim's June 2009 issue, sporting a string bikini. In the spring of 2009, she joined the cast of Burn Notice for its third season, playing Detective Michelle Paxson in a recurring capacity. Looking ahead, she is set to star in TNT's forthcoming science fiction series Falling Skies, executive produced by Steven Spielberg. Additionally, Bloodgood lends her voice to the character of Uriel the Archangel in the video game Darksiders.
