Nancy Brilli — Biography

Nancy Brilli, whose roots trace back to Ukraine, first graced the silver screen under the guidance of Pasquale Squitieri. Her notable acting presence was first seen in the 1984 film Claretta. The year 1990 marked a significant achievement for Brilli, as she received both a David di Donatello award and a Silver Ribbon, both recognizing her work as Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Sophie in Little Misunderstandings.

Her personal life has seen two marriages, each lasting two years. She was wed to actor Massimo Ghini, and subsequently to director Luca Manfredi, who is the son of the celebrated actor and director Nino Manfredi. Prior to these marriages, Brilli had a romantic connection with songwriter Ivano Fossati. In 1994, Brilli bravely faced and underwent surgery to remove an ovarian cancer. She also holds the distinction of being the niece of the renowned race car driver Gastone Brilli-Peri.
