Über Nives Celzijus
Nives Celzijus Drpić, originally named Nives Zeljković, was born on December 18, 1981, in Croatia. She has made a name for herself as a model, singer, and author, and currently serves as a columnist for the German publication Bild. Nives was previously married to football player Dino Drpić, who has played in the Superleague Greece, and the couple shares two children, Leon and Taiša. In Germany, they have earned the moniker "David and Victoria Beckham of Baden."
The media spotlight shone brightly on Nives after her appearance on the Serbian RTV Pink show Ami G Show on January 22, 2009, where she claimed she and her husband had intimate relations in the empty Stadion Maksimir, a revelation that garnered significant public attention. While rumors about her expecting another child surfaced, Nives promptly dismissed those speculations. Later, in October 2009, she faced legal repercussions as the Municipal Criminal Court convicted her of defamation after she accused her father, Slovenian writer Anej Sam, of mental abuse in an interview with Serbian Playboy magazine.
In a surprising incident in 2008, Nives and Dino attracted widespread media coverage across Europe while on holiday on the Croatian island of Krk when their son Leone was mistakenly thought to be the missing British girl Madeleine McCann, who vanished in Portugal.
