Priyamani — Biography

Priyamani, a celebrated Indian performer, has carved out a significant presence across the cinematic landscapes of Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada cinema. Her talent has been acknowledged with numerous accolades, including a prestigious National Film Award and three Filmfare Awards South. Her journey in acting commenced in 2003 with the Telugu production Evare Atagaadu. It was her portrayal of a rural young woman in the 2007 Tamil romantic saga Paruthiveeran that truly captivated audiences, earning her both a National Film Award for Best Actress and a Filmfare Award for Best Actress in Tamil. Beyond this breakout role, her filmography boasts noteworthy contributions such as Raam (2009), Raavan (2010), Raavanan (2010), Pranchiyettan & the Saint (2010), Chaarulatha (2012), and Idolle Ramayana (2016). Transitioning to the digital realm, she began featuring in the spy-thriller series The Family Man in 2019.
