Rachel Dratch — Biography

Rachel Dratch is widely recognized for her tenure on Saturday Night Live. Despite a substantial and varied career both during and after her time on that iconic television show, her most enduring comedic contribution for many remains the character of "Debbie Downer." In her memoir, Girl Walks Into a Bar..., Dratch recounts meeting John Wahl, who works in the natural foods sector, in a bar setting back in 2009. Approximately six months after this encounter, Dratch discovered she was expecting, and their son, Eli Benjamin, was born on August 24, 2010, with Wahl as his father.
