Reshma Pasupuleti is a performer who has made her mark primarily in Tamil cinema and television productions. Her journey into the entertainment world began not as an actor, but as a presenter and news correspondent for a television network broadcasting in the Telugu language. Her transition to Tamil television audiences occurred with her role in the series Vamsam. In 2016, she took on a supporting character in the film Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran, sharing the screen with actor Vishnu Vishal.
Born into a family with Telugu linguistic roots, Reshma's father, Prasad Pasupuleti, is a producer in the Telugu film industry. Reshma herself pursued higher education overseas, initially studying in Arkansas before earning an engineering degree in computer science from Texas A&M University. Furthering her technical training, she completed a course in software testing at Amitysoft Software Institution and also briefly worked as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines.

She made her film debut in Masala Padam in 2015, where she played the lead role. Following this, she featured in a number of other films, notably portraying a news anchor in Ko 2 released in 2016, and a comedic part in Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran in the same year, appearing alongside comedian Soori. In 2016, she also appeared in Girls, a film produced in both Tamil and Malayalam that explored themes of extramarital affairs. In 2019, Reshma participated in the popular reality television competition, Bigg Boss Tamil 3. Her sister-in-law is the actress Reshmi Menon.
