Sean Young — Biography

Born on November 20, 1959, Mary Sean Young has carved a notable path in American cinema. Her career is largely defined by memorable roles in a range of significant films. Audiences recall her work in the military comedy Stripes from 1981, the groundbreaking science fiction classic Blade Runner released in 1982, and the epic adaptation of Dune in 1984. She also appeared in the suspenseful thriller No Way Out and the iconic Wall Street, both from 1987. Further demonstrating her versatility, she starred in the romantic comedy Cousins in 1989 and the parody Fatal Instinct in 1993. Her presence was also felt in the popular comedy Ace Ventura: Pet Detective in 1994, and she revisited a beloved role in the recent continuation of the Blade Runner saga with Blade Runner 2049 in 2017.
