Shelly Martinez, an American figure with a diverse career, has made her mark as a model, actress, and formerly as a professional wrestler and valet. Her tenure in professional wrestling commenced in December of 2000, initially gracing the independent wrestling scene across Southern California under the moniker Desire. She competed for various organizations, including Revolution Pro Wrestling, Ultimate Pro Wrestling, and the Empire Wrestling Federation.
Her career took a significant turn in April 2005 when she inked a deal with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). She was initially placed in their developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), before transitioning to the ECW brand in mid-2006. There, as Ariel, she adopted a tarot reader persona and managed Kevin Thorn. Following her release from WWE in 2007, Martinez found a new home with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). She continued to make appearances for several independent promotions until her retirement from wrestling in 2017.
