Sofia Boutella, born on April 3, 1982, is an Algerian-French performer renowned for her talents as a dancer, model, and actress. She gained significant recognition for her roles in various Hollywood action films, particularly as Gazelle in Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014), Jaylah in Star Trek Beyond (2016), and Delphine Lasalle in Atomic Blonde (2017). Since 2017, she has been celebrated as one of the year's premier new action stars and a standout in the genre. Boutella has continued to expand her career with prominent roles, portraying Princess Ahmanet in The Mummy (2017), an international assassin in Hotel Artemis (2018), and leading a dance troupe in Climax (2018). In 2022, she featured alongside Peter Weller in Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, playing the enigmatic Dr. Zahra in a transformative episode titled "The Viewing," which was directed by Panos Cosmatos.
