Sofia Sisniega — Biography

Sofia Sisniega Aspe, born on June 7, 1989, in Cuernavaca, Mexico, is a Mexican performer recognized for her portrayal of Sofia Lopez-Haro in the 2013 Mexican rendition of Gossip Girl, titled Gossip Girl: Acapulco. Her paternal surname is Sisniega, and her maternal surname is Aspe. Sisniega's acting journey commenced at the tender age of four, participating in local community theater. She was a regular performer with a children's theater ensemble, appearing four times weekly at various bookstores. Her father, Marcel Sisniega Campbell, was a notable Mexican chess Grandmaster and an independent film director. Possessing dual citizenship in both the United States and Mexico, she spent her upbringing divided between the two nations.
