Cristina Krause is a multifaceted American talent known for her work in film as an actress, producer, and director, as well as her earlier career as a model. Frequently hailed as a "B Movie Queen" and an "Indie Horror Queen," her professional path has largely been forged with independent filmmakers operating on tight budgets, specializing in horror and risqué parodies. Krause shared in an interview with Horror Society that her career began after being "discovered" at Chiller Theatre, remarking that she has been acting "ever since." Her inaugural feature film was Sorority Slaughter, released in 1994. By her early thirties, she had already cultivated a significant following, becoming a "huge fan favorite." Her extensive filmography includes over 78 independent, direct-to-video productions such as Penny Dreadful, The Drunken Dead Guy, The Thirsting, Zombiegeddon, and Play Dead. She has also collaborated on multiple occasions with RedLetterMedia, contributing to projects like The Recovered, Feeding Frenzy, and The Grabowskis. Beyond her film work, Krause has engaged in fetish modeling, at times utilizing the pseudonym Mia Copia. Her involvement in Horrotica saw principal photography commence in the New York–New Jersey region in June 2009. In 2011, she took on the role of Sally in Scrooge in the Hood, Richard Chandler's Christmas comedy that playfully reimagines Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. In 2015, she shared the screen with fellow notable figures in the horror genre, Erika Smith and Rachael Robbins, in the film The Fappening.
