Whitney Blake — Biography

Whitney Blake pursued a career in both writing and acting, leaving her mark on classic television and film. Audiences likely remember her for her contributions to Hazel, a beloved sitcom that premiered in 1961, as well as her roles in the movie My Gun Is Quick from 1957 and the detective series Mannix, which began in 1967. Blake also made an early appearance on the iconic courtroom drama Perry Mason, featuring in its very first episode. Beyond her professional endeavors, she is the mother of actress Meredith Baxter.
