Abby Brammell — Biography
Abby Brammell has built a notable acting career with recurring appearances on prominent television shows such as Six Feet Under, The Shield, Push, Nevada, and Star Trek: Enterprise. A significant theatrical moment came in 2004 when she garnered critical praise for her portrayal of Sabina Spielrein in the North American debut of Christopher Hampton's play, The Talking Cure, at Los Angeles' Mark Taper Forum. From 2006 to 2009, Brammell was a regular fixture on television screens as Tiffy Gerhardt, the wife of an army man, in the series The Unit. Her television work also includes a role as Marine Sergeant Heather Dempsey in the eighth season of NCIS, specifically in the episode titled "Short Fuse." In 2012, she took on the part of Tamara Moor in the American made-for-television thriller Playdate. More recently, Brammell has lent her talents to guest spots on popular series including Medium, The Mentalist, Lie to Me, Criminal Minds, and Castle. She also featured in the 2013 film Jobs, portraying the wife of Ashton Kutcher's character, Steve Jobs.
