Alaina Huffman — Biography

Alaina Huffman, born Alaina Kalanj, is a Canadian actress whose heritage traces back to Croatia. She gained recognition in the entertainment world under her professional name, Alaina Huffman. A notable role that brought her widespread attention was her portrayal of Maureen Bowers in the Canadian television program Painkiller Jane. Her acting credits also include a significant role as Dinah Lance, also known as Black Canary, in the American series Smallville. Furthermore, Huffman was a regular presence on the small screen as 1st Lt. Tamara Johansen in Stargate Universe. She also lent her talents to the American dark fantasy series Supernatural, where she embodied the character of the demon Abaddon.
