Alison Armitage, born on February 26, 1965, in London, England, is a former swimmer, actress, and Playboy Playmate. Known by the stage name Brittany York, she achieved recognition as Playboy's Playmate of the Month in October 1990. Armitage starred in the TV series Acapulco H.E.A.T. from 1998 to 1999, and has made cameo appearances in films like Jerry Maguire and Driven. In 1999, she was featured in a pictorial for Maxim magazine. A passionate swimmer from the age of four, she earned a spot on the Olympic team for Hong Kong. However, during her teenage years, she struggled with her body image as her physical development hindered her speed in the water and ultimately curtailed her competitive swimming career.
