Anja Kling — Biography
Born on March 22, 1970, in Potsdam, Brandenburg, Anja Kling is a German talent equally adept at acting on screen and lending her voice to characters. Her career gained significant traction in 1989 when she took on a central role in Herrmann Zschoche's film, Green Wedding. Following Germany's reunification, she solidified her status with her portrayal of Helke Hagedorn in the ZDF television series Hagedorn's Daughter. Since 1988, Kling has amassed an impressive filmography, appearing in more than 130 film and television projects. She maintains her connection to her roots, residing in Wilhelmshorst, a town near Potsdam where she spent her formative years. Kling is a mother to two children, a son and a daughter, from her two-decade-long partnership with production manager Jens Solf, a relationship that concluded with their separation announced in November 2012. In September 2018, she exchanged vows with lighting technician Oliver Haas at Blankensee Castle, a union that followed their meeting on a film set three years prior. She is the sister of fellow actress Gerit Kling.
