Although many know her as Enji Night and often assume it's her birth name, Anna Redei was born on September 30, 1991, in Budapest, Hungary. Details about her upbringing and family are scarce, but it is commonly recognized that she was a shy and solitary child. While the specifics of her early education remain unknown, her passion for fashion and design led her to pursue a degree in fashion design at the collegiate level. As one of the most adaptable cosplayers in the scene, she began her professional journey in 2009 at the age of 18. Her initial fascination with cosplay was sparked by her love for anime as well as her engagement in online role-playing games, where the unique styles of characters captivated her. This interest became her motivation. Since then, she has traveled globally, attending cosplay events in countries such as Tunisia and the Philippines. In 2011, Night launched her YouTube channel but initially did not dedicate much effort to it, resulting in only nine videos being posted by mid-2018. Despite this, she has garnered nearly half a million views and over 15,000 subscribers. In addition to her roles in cosplay, Night also works as a model and has received offers for film appearances. Notably, Anna Redei was invited to participate in the fantasy film Sucker Punch, although she chose not to accept the role. As of November 2024, her Instagram following has grown to 1.0 million.
