American actress and model Barbara Bach, known to many for her turn as the captivating Anya Amasova in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me, shares her life with English musician Ringo Starr, the celebrated drummer of The Beatles. Born Barbara Ann Goldbach on August 27, 1946, in Queens, New York, she is the daughter of Howard I. Goldbach, a police officer from a Jewish family with roots in Germany, Austria, and Romania, and Marjorie, who was of Irish Catholic heritage.
