Carole Augustine — Biography

Carole Augustine, a British figure who graced magazine pages and television screens, was born on June 18, 1953, and passed away on January 5, 1975. Her career as a glamour model saw her featured as Penthouse Pet of the Month for February 1972, and she also appeared as a Page 3 covergirl. Augustine rose to national prominence as a sex symbol, largely due to her memorable role in the television advertisements for Manikin Cigars. Her heritage was a rich tapestry, incorporating Portuguese, Venezuelan, Scottish, and Polish influences. Following her appearance in the 1974 exploitation film Confessions of a Window Cleaner, her life was tragically cut short, reportedly due to an overdose involving barbiturates and diet pills.
