Cassandra Lynn — Biography
Cassandra Lynn Jensen, born on August 15, 1979, in Price, Utah, was an American model whose career included being selected as Playboy's Playmate of the Month for February 2006. She earned the nickname "Butterfly" from the five distinctive butterfly tattoos of varying sizes that adorned different areas of her body, including her back and lower back regions. During her childhood, Jensen spent most of her formative years in Huntington, Utah and Ferron, Utah before relocating with her mother to the Salt Lake Valley area. She completed her high school education at Emery High School in Castle Dale, graduating in 1997. During her secondary school years, Jensen was an active member of the concert choir and competed on the diving team. Her classmates voted her as the girl most likely to appear in a "Bellybutton R' Us" calendar.
On January 15, 2014, Jensen, who had taken the married name Hensley, was discovered deceased in a bathtub at the age of 34. According to her family's representative, the model had consumed significant quantities of cocaine and alcohol in the time preceding her death in California. The family statement released to E! News indicated that her passing resulted from a tragic accidental overdose. She is survived by her husband Gary and two children. It was subsequently revealed that Jensen had spent the evening before her death with another man, an additional source of distress for her surviving spouse.
Beyond her primary Playboy selection, Jensen was also featured as Playmate of the Month in Playboy Slovakia in March 2006, Playboy France in March 2006, and Playboy Croatia in May 2006.
