Christina Rene Hendricks is an Emmy-nominated performer recognized primarily for portraying Joan Holloway on the AMC series Mad Men. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Hendricks spent the majority of her formative years in Twin Falls, Idaho. Her acting career began with performances in Junior Musical Playhouse productions, including a role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
