Clyda Rosen — Biography
Clyda Rosen, originally named Vietta Taff, hails from Israel and gained fame during the 1970s as a prominent topless model and pornographic actress within London's adult film industry, celebrated for her ample bosom. In the early seventies, she was discovered by Harrison Marks, who featured her both as a glamour model in various photographic works and as an actress in his 8mm films, which were produced in both hardcore and softcore formats. Some notable films produced by Marks featuring Clyda include "Autograph Hunter," where she portrays a groupie who invades the residence of rock star Randy Tool, and "Dolly Mixture," a comedic horror film in which she plays the female creation of a mad doctor, engaging in risqué scenarios with the doctor’s hunchbacked assistant. The most recognized of the Marks and Rosen collaborations is "Die Lollos," also known as "The Customs" or "Strange Customs," in which Clyda attempts to smuggle adult material through British customs. For a long time, there were speculations that John Cleese had played the customs inspector in this film, but it was later clarified that it was merely a look-alike. "Die Lollos" also had a black and white softcore variant titled "Unaccustomed as I Am," featuring a different actor in the customs officer role. Additionally, a third version called "Duty Free" includes another actress in the portrayal previously played by Clyda.
