Daina House — Biography

Daina House, born on December 30, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, is a minister who once enjoyed a career as a model and actress. She gained prominence as Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month in January 1976, with her centerfold captured by photographer Ken Marcus. What set House apart from many of her peers was her decision to write the article that accompanied her pictorial. Her journey with Playboy began when a photographer sent the magazine images of her modeling shoes and encouraged her to join their ranks as a Playmate. Throughout her years, House posed for Playboy numerous times and remained with Playboy Enterprises for nearly two decades. However, after experiencing a sense of being worn out and facing numerous disappointments in her acting career, she turned to faith, getting baptized in 1983 and having a profound "born again" experience in 1993. Following her spiritual awakening, she became a gospel singer and a Sunday school teacher. Currently, House serves as a Women's Ministry Leader for Single Moms and studies at Kings College & Seminary. Additionally, she shares her message by preaching at churches and through media outlets across the nation.
