Daksha Nagarkar — Biography

Daksha Nagarkar is an Indian actress and model known for her work in Telugu cinema. Her acting journey began in 2015 with the film Hora Hori, directed by Teja. Following this early role, she went on to appear in other notable films like Husharu and Zombie Reddy.

Upon her debut in Hora Hori, Daksha Nagarkar garnered a promising review from Sangeetha Devi Dundoo of The Hindu, who noted her "reasonably good screen presence" and potential. However, the demands of filming led to her missing her first-year final examinations, resulting in her failing. This prompted a decision to pause her film career to focus on completing her Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Three years after her initial foray into acting, Nagarkar made her return to the silver screen in 2018 with the coming-of-age film Husharu. In 2021, she took on the role of a young woman engrossed in gaming in the movie Zombie Reddy. Her portrayal in Zombie Reddy was met with positive remarks, with a critic from The Hindu describing it as "effective." Hemanth Kumar of Firstpost also acknowledged her contribution, stating that Nagarkar received her moments to shine amidst the film's action sequences.

The year 2022 saw Nagarkar feature in a dance number titled "Entha Sakkagundiro" in the film Bangarraju, sharing the screen with Naga Chaitanya. Later that year, she was confirmed to be part of the cast for the Ravi Teja-starrer Ravanasura.
