Labelle began her modeling journey in 2002, gracing the runways and campaigns for numerous Quebec-based fashion houses and designers. Her initial foray into the MMA world came when the now-closed TKO Major League MMA, headquartered in Montreal, recruited her as a ring-card girl. Ambitious and eager for a larger platform as the sport gained popularity, Labelle applied to the UFC for the same role, achieving the distinction of being the first Canadian woman to hold this title. She first stepped into the renowned octagon in November 2007. Her association with the UFC extended beyond the live events, leading to her inclusion as a digital character in the video game "UFC 2009 Undisputed." Standing at 5’8” and weighing 120 pounds, with measurements of 34-24-34, Labelle's striking presence quickly garnered attention in print modeling. She became a sought-after talent for prominent publications like Men’s Fitness, Gra grappling Magazine, and Fight Magazine, and also served as a model and ambassador for health and dietary supplements. This made her a popular figure among fitness aficionados and combat sports enthusiasts alike. In July 2009, Labelle departed from the UFC, setting her sights on a burgeoning acting career in film and television. Her passion for acting ignited during her debut in the motion picture “Recon 2023: The Gauda Prime Conspiracy,” produced by Movie Seals Production in 2008. This was followed by a leading part in the web series “Heroes of the North,” also from Movie Seals Production, in 2009. Fluent in both English and French, Edith is currently seeking her next acting opportunity, auditioning for roles in both languages.
