Emily Hampshire — Biography

Born in 1979, Emily Hampshire is a Canadian performer who has built a notable career in acting. She first gained significant attention for her portrayal of Angelina in the 1998 romantic comedy Boy Meets Girl. Later, she appeared as Vivienne in the 2006 film Snow Cake. Hampshire also lent her voice to the character Misery in the animated YTV series Ruby Gloom, a role she held from 2006 to 2008. Her presence was felt in the Syfy drama 12 Monkeys, where she played Jennifer Goines from 2015 to 2018. Simultaneously, from 2015 to 2020, she was a beloved fixture on the CBC comedy Schitt's Creek as Stevie Budd. More recently, Hampshire has taken on principal characters in the series Chapelwaite, beginning in 2021, and The Rig, which premiered in 2023.
