Eva Gabor — Biography
Hailing from Hungary and later becoming an American citizen, Eva Gabor forged a multifaceted career as both an actress and a figure of high society. Audiences may recall her distinctive voice lending life to Duchess in Disney's animated classic The Aristocats and later to Miss Bianca in both The Rescuers and its sequel, The Rescuers Down Under. She achieved significant television fame through her portrayal of Lisa Douglas, the on-screen wife of Eddie Albert's character, Oliver Wendell Douglas, in the popular sitcom Green Acres, which aired from 1965 to 1971. Gabor's professional endeavors spanned the realms of film, Broadway, and television. Beyond her performing arts career, she also ventured into the business world, developing and marketing a line of wigs, apparel, and beauty items.
