Eva Vlaardingerbroek — Biography

Eva Lotte Louise Joan Vlaardingerbroek is a prominent Dutch conservative commentator and activist. With a background in legal philosophy, she has been particularly active in discussing the challenges facing farmers during the Dutch farmers' protests and is known for her sharp critiques of the government led by Prime Minister Mark Rutte. She has frequently appeared on Tucker Carlson's current affairs show, Tucker Carlson Tonight, on Fox News in the United States, as well as on Mark Steyn's namesake talk show on GB News in the UK. Until the end of 2020, she was involved with French writer Julien Rochedy, who previously served as president of Génération Nation, the youth section of the right-wing populist party Front National from 2012 to 2014. During a significant internal conflict within the Forum for Democracy (FVD) in November 2020, Vlaardingerbroek publicly opposed party leader Thierry Baudet, who subsequently disclosed that they had a brief romantic relationship in 2017. Vlaardingerbroek characterized it as merely a short-lived affair. On March 29, 2022, Will Witt, a former commentator for the conservative organization PragerU, announced their engagement. The two had been introduced by Dennis Prager, a co-founder of PragerU, about a year earlier. In April 2023, Vlaardingerbroek, along with her father, was welcomed into the Catholic faith as part of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham, at the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption and St Gregory in Westminster, England, where she took Joan as her Confirmation name.
