Gail Kim — Biography
Gail Kim, a performer of Korean heritage hailing from Canada, has made her mark as a professional wrestler, a ring-side assistant, a model, and an actress. Her professional journey is most notably linked with two major wrestling organizations: World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). Kim initially stepped into the wrestling ring under the moniker La Felina, competing on independent circuits in Canada. Her entry into WWE occurred in 2002, where she adopted the name Gail Kim. Remarkably, in her very first match with the company, she secured the WWE Women's Championship. Following her departure from WWE in 2004, Kim made her debut in TNA in September 2005. She was introduced as the valet for the tag team America's Most Wanted. After that team disbanded, Kim transitioned to solo competition. Her time in TNA saw her achieve another significant milestone when she became the first-ever TNA Women's Knockout Champion in October 2007. She departed TNA in August 2008, only to rejoin WWE in March 2009. On August 5, 2011, Kim publicly announced her departure from WWE through her Twitter account. As of October 2025, her presence on Instagram has garnered a following of 260,000 individuals.
