Gopa Noona — Biography

Jeon Ji-eun, professionally known as Gopa Noona, emerged as a prominent South Korean fashion and glamour model, digital content creator, and streaming personality after becoming one of the initial plus-sized models to appear in MAXIM Korea in November 2023. Competing under the name Gopa in the inaugural Plus Size Model Contest organized by Korean Maxim magazine in June 2021, she earned the Most Popular Award and achieved the title of Miss Maxim alongside fellow winner Ssunbiki. This marked the first officially sanctioned plus-sized modeling competition by the Korean Modelling Association. She subsequently served as a presenter during the competition's third iteration in July 2023. Following her victory in the Maxim competition, she graced the magazine's September 2021 Korean issue in their Reader's Car feature, where magazine subscribers could display their vehicles alongside a Maxim model. The contest winner received a meeting with Gopa and complimentary yearly magazine access. As her inaugural professional photoshoot, she acknowledged experiencing both nervousness and enthusiasm before the session. Beyond modeling, Gopa maintains an active presence as a lifestyle and fashion content creator on both Afreeca TV and YouTube. Throughout 2023, she collaborated with various Korean models to promote Mongolia as a travel destination for Korean tourists, including location-based photoshoots in Dundgobi Province. The assignment provided her with opportunities to engage with regional herding communities and administrative representatives. Born on August 6, 1994, Gopa Noona has established herself as a significant media influencer in South Korea's modeling industry.
