Sobre Halsey

Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, known to the world as Halsey, was born in New Jersey on September 29, 1994. She began her rise to fame by sharing her music online. This early online presence caught the attention of Astralwerks, who signed her in 2014. That same year, she unveiled her first EP, Room 93. Her debut full-length album, Badlands, arrived in 2015. The RIAA eventually recognized Badlands with a Double Platinum certification, as did the individual tracks "Colors" and "Gasoline."

In 2016, Halsey lent her voice to The Chainsmokers' massive hit "Closer." This collaboration proved immensely successful, topping charts in numerous countries and earning a remarkable 14× Platinum certification from the RIAA. Her sophomore album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, released in 2017, embraced a more mainstream, radio-friendly sound. Both of its lead singles, "Now or Never" and "Bad at Love," charted within the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100, with "Bad at Love" reaching the top five.

The year 2018 saw Halsey collaborate with Benny Blanco and Khalid on the single "Eastside," which also climbed into the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100. That same year, she transitioned to Capitol Records. Her third album, Manic, released in 2020, became her best-selling record globally, and its primary single, "Without Me," marked her most successful outing as the main artist. Halsey shifted gears again with her fourth album, If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power, in 2021. This record delved into a darker, industrial sound and was a project Halsey considered her ultimate creative vision. Produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails, it garnered largely positive critical reception.

Following a disagreement over the release of the non-album single "So Good" in 2022, Halsey departed Capitol Records in 2023. By March 2024, Halsey had accumulated an impressive following of 31.6 million on Instagram and 12.0 million subscribers on YouTube. Billboard reported in 2020 that her album sales exceeded one million in the United States, accompanied by over six billion streams. Her distinctive vocal talent is a hallmark of her artistry. Her accolades include three Billboard Music Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award, an American Music Award, a GLAAD Media Award, and an MTV Video Music Award. She has also been nominated for three Grammy Awards. In 2021, BMI Film & TV Awards honored her as Songwriter of the Year. Time recognized her influence by including her in their 2020 list of the 10
